Aruba Bank hosts inspiring Behind-the-Scenes session for GRIT Seminar winners

Aruba Bank welcomed a group of ten enthusiastic young winners from last month’s GRIT Seminar, organized by WOW Aruba, for an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience. This inspiring session, aimed at supporting young women in tech, offered participants an interactive opportunity to connect virtually with two prominent students in the technology industry. The event allowed these young winners to ask questions, seek advice, and gain valuable insights into tech careers.

The visit, held at Aruba Bank’s Hato Branch, provided participants with a unique look into the bank’s Payments and IT Departments. During the in-person portion of the tour, the teens had the chance to meet and engage with the talented women leading these departments, gaining a firsthand understanding of their responsibilities, challenges, and the impact of their work. 

Aruba Bank’s dedication to empowering future leaders and promoting diversity in technology was evident throughout the event. This exclusive session was one of several initiatives Aruba Bank supports to encourage young women’s interest in technology in the traditionally male-dominated fields such as technology.
