An export (or confirmed) letter of credit by a reputable international bank gives you the assurance that you will be paid if you present the required documents according to the terms of the letter of credit. Our bank’s role in this will be to advise you of the receipt hereof and also to assist you in collecting the proceeds by forwarding the required (shipping) documentation to the issuing bank for verification.

Aruba Bank will act as the advising or confirming bank and claim funds on your behalf in case of non-compliance by your buyer.
Export Letters of Credit are issued by international banks in your favor as security for payment for merchandise that you are exporting. As a rule the letter of credit should be irrevocable and non-negotiable.
