Aruba Bank and Impact Blue have once again joined forces during De Schakel College's "Green and Clean" week, offering an engaging and interactive presentation on the topic of Circular Economy. This initiative is part of De Schakel College’s TTO (multilingual education) program, which focuses on personal development, sustainability science, and the importance of collective actions.
Throughout this week, 71 students, ranging from ages 12 to 13, participated in various sustainability-focused activities, including art projects using recycled materials, creating terrariums, and informative sessions. In addition to these activities, they learned about the essential role nature plays in creating a sustainable environment.
"Collaborating with De Schakel College to inspire the next generation about the importance of the Circular Economy has been a truly special experience," shared Roxanne Croes, Senior Marketing Officer. "We believe that by educating our youth about sustainability today, we can achieve a more sustainable future for Aruba," emphasized Juliet Carvalhal.
