Aruba Bank Mastercard DEBIT with Maestro Offers Customers a Superior Payment Experience

We launched our new Mastercard DEBIT with Maestro, which allows clients to make purchases simply, quickly, and completely secure. The new “hybrid” card is the only one in its form in Aruba, and unique to the region. The card allows for both Mastercard Debit transactions as well as Maestro transactions.

According to Executive Director Gina Habibe-Arendsz, head of our Card Center, “Our focus on the customer wants and needs has been a catalyst for us to introduce this new card in the market. Our customers are able to make purchases online, which is also our competitive advantage.”

“Today’s consumer is busier than ever and in an increasingly digitized world, cardholders are increasing their online shopping,” said Mateo Lleras, account management at Mastercard. “With this card, our customers will be able to pay for the things they want with the security they demand.”

The new card, allows our customers to make online purchases and is accepted worldwide where the Mastercard, Cirrus or Maestro logo are displayed. Customers who use an Aruba Bank debit card will receive the new Aruba Bank Mastercard DEBIT with Maestro progressively over between March and May of 2019.
