Aruba Bank proudly announces its generous donation of AWG 10,000 to fund the expansion of Neptali Henriquez Park (NHP). This initiative reflects Aruba Bank's commitment to community development and the well-being of Aruba's residents.
Neptali Henriquez Park was founded in 1974 by Mrs. Florence Wekker and was officially opened in 1984 by Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet of the Netherlands. The park has been ever since a cherished community playground.
Aruba Bank’s generous donation helps with the expansion to create a dedicated space for toddlers and children aged 2-5, fostering inclusivity and holistic development. The project includes play stations tailored for young children, accommodating up to 81 children across 26 play events. The educational play station emphasizes learning through play, introducing engineering and science concepts outdoors.
The donation here marks the first in the expansion project, where Aruba Bank hopes to inspire more companies to contribute to this beautiful expansion project for the park, which amounts to a total of AWG 130,000.
During a brief meeting, Roxanne Croes of Aruba Bank presented a ceremonial cheque to the board members of the park to mark the beginning of a partnership dedicated to community growth and enrichment. Congrats to Neptali Henriquez Park with this amazing project.
