Aruba Bank sponsors books for distribution amongst third grade elementary schools

Aruba Bank is proud to announce its sponsorship of the newly published children’s book “Rene su dushi wega” by Ruthy “Lady Ruth” Vrieswijk-Bergen. These books will be distributed to a local school to inspire young readers and promote literacy across the island.

The official presentation of the book took place at UNOCA on January 15, 2025. This event celebrated the launch of this engaging book, written to capture the imagination of children while fostering a love for reading. Attendees had the opportunity to meet the author and received signed copies of the book.

Aruba Bank's donation will ensure that students at an elementary school will have access to “Rene su dushi wega”, which tells a heartwarming story about childhood fun and values. The book will also be available for purchase in local bookstores.
